Little Munchkins 

 

Little Munchkins is a specialized behavioral therapy center for children and their families to receive Applied Behavioral Analysis, and play based therapy services .  We foster life long skills to positively impact challenges the children may be facing. We take a research based cognitive behavioral approach to play therapy and ABA.  We encourage growth through inclusive and age appropriate individualized support.

Our approach to therapy is based at our center in San Mateo, within the surrounding community and in home. Our woman owned small business has been located in downtown San Mateo since 2019 and have been supporting children and families in the Bay Area since 2016.  We work collaboratively with families, and speech therapists, occupational therapists, school counselors etc to create a holistic and whole child approach.

Our commitment is to meeting every child where they are developmentally.  Because children learn through play, we take a play based approach to therapy, that can involve art, dance, yoga, interactive play and experiential learning.

 

Our goal is to help all of our children to learn and grow through an individualized approach to treatment.
